The kitchen, a 19th century art gallery
This room, which was one of Charles Jacque's workshops and which was the common room of the Millet family after 1860, has become the exhibition hall and point of sale of the Millet Museum.
After Millet's death, it had been fitted with a colored coffered ceiling and an Italian-style fireplace, staffed by Gallici who worked for the Château de Fontainebleau and adorned with a raphaelic "Madonna and Child". .
In this room you will find contemporary artists and craftsmen, engravings, books, souvenirs… and original works from the 19th century offered for sale.
This gallery space extends outside the walls to offer you:
